E Newsletter from CaFE
Dear Friends,
During these exceptional and worrying times, more resources are being made available for us to worship and reflect on-line—
here are just a few. Going forward, an e-newsletter will be sent via Mail Chimp more often, to keep you up-to-date.
All future courses and events organised by Adult Formation will, of course, be postponed or cancelled until it is safe to
recommence. Visit our website for further CCRS information, the date will be extended for those coming to the end of the
course time-limit.
We are hoping we will be able to rearrange ‘Year of the Word’ events — after all, The Word is not just for the Year.
“Let us welcome this time of trial as an opportunity to prepare for our collective future, a future for all without discarding
anyone. Because without an all-embracing vision, there will be no future for anyone.” - HOMILY OF HIS HOLINESS POPE

Lockdown may provide us with opportunities to dedicate more time to the
reading of Scripture, celebrating our own Liturgy of the Word. Throughout the
Easter season we read from the Acts of the Apostles, seeing how the Easter
gospel is preached in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Fr
Adrian Graffy, Scripture scholar and member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, has recorded a talk on the opening eight
chapters of Acts, which is now available at:
