The Parish Supports CAFOD

We advocate for the poor by being an effective voice for marginalised and vulnerable communities around the world. Out of love, we must be a voice for the poor and this is part of our parish mission.

With the reality of the Coronavirus, our thoughts turn to those affected by the virus, both here in the U.K. and overseas.

We advocate for a global approach by governments to tackle the impacts of Covid-19 on our brothers and sisters in vulnerable and developing countries

- where healthcare systems are extremely fragile

- where the impact of the Coronavirus is likely to be devastating and will exacerbate the inequalities and injustices that these people already face.

Out of love, we wish to sign the CAFOD petition to the U.K. Government to ensure international efforts to tacle the Coronavirus and ensure that the most vulnerable and marginalised people are a priority in the U.K.'s global efforts, as well as, efforts at home.
